Help with Listening

Mike FM offers you the opportunity to stream out station through our high quality audio player powered by Liquid Compass. Additionally, we do our best to keep our Audio On Demand shelf stocked with bits we put together through the week. If you heard an original song on Mike FM and you do not find it in our Audio On Demand section, feel free to send a request that it be added to Al Beuscher - abeuscher@entercom.com.

Listen Live

The Listen Live button returns you to the screen that is loaded when the player first intializes. It will show you the name of the song that is currently playing on the Mike FM Stream

On Demand

The On Demand section of the player is not currently active. The On Demand section will let you plan playlists of music for your own pleasure.

The Station Search button allows you to find otheer Entercom radio stations around the country for more outstanding programming of all shapes and flavors.

Quick Hits

The Quick Hits button leads you to www.getschooled.fm, a website with a number of great features to help you learn more about music.
Last Played

The Last Played list will tell you what songs have played since you loaded the player. So the playlist in this section is built of songs which have played only since you began your streaming session. To view songs that have played prior to your opening of the streaming player, please visit: http://wmkk.tunegenie.net/wallstations/wmkk/index.php?stationId=wmkk.

Player Controls

There are 4 control buttons, in order below as they appear from left to right:

Play: Toggles Play/Pause of stream.

Stop: Stops playing audio.

Refresh: Refreshes player in its browser window.

Mute: Mutes audio stream.

Volume Control

Adjust the slider in the volume control to adjust volume.

Quality Selector

Chooses what quality audio you are streaming. If you are on a cable modem or DSL, Hi-Quality should be no problem. If you experience a lot of skips and pauses in your stream, lowering the quality will usually address this problem.

Currently Playing Information

This displays the title and artist of the song that is currently playing.

Note: This information will not instantly appear when you load the player, due to limitations of the Liquid Compass Player. It will take up to the length of a whole song before the information starts displaying properly.

Mike FM Audio On Demand

Mike's Audio On Demand section contains audio clips from Mike's adventures in the world of Parody, as well as the occassional celebrity interview thrown in for good measure. If you heard a clip on Mike FM and want to hear it again in your spare time, pop over to our Audio On Demand section in the "Listen" menu to navigate to the clip that you want. If it's not immediately apparent, just use the search box in the top right of the screen to get Google results within our site. If you are still unable to find the clip, we may not think it was as awesome as you did, so Send Us Email, describe the clip in any way you see fit, and we'll get it right up there for you.
